
I currently teach Sound Design with FLOSS (free/libre open source software) in a MA study program at LABA, Brescia Academy of Fine Arts, Italy.
The course includes the traditional sound design techniques along with excursions in soundscape studies and sound art. Students use free software for audio real-time processing and interactive sonification such as Pure Data graphical programming environment .
The LABA MA also includes courses held by Massimo Banzi (Tinker.it/Arduino), Otolab, Luca Carrubba.
Workshop
I hold workshop for diverse international venues and events on a regular basis.
Past courses include the UPR, Puerto Rico University in San Juan, the Gotland University, Institute for New Media and Technology in Sweden, the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan and the Pierluigi da Palestrina Conservatory in Cagliari, Italy; the Live Performers Meeting, Xalapa, Mexico, the Vision’r Festival, Paris, the Cinetrip Vj Torna, Budapest, Hungary; among other venues.
